In search of a bike No.2

Well I didn't get the previous bike, it went a couple hundred pounds over my budget of less than a hundred pounds. My plan is to go down to Cambridge and buy/find a second hand one. I used to hang out with a couple of drinking friends, its well peaceful. You would be surprised to find how many bikes are just left about. But I do have my eye on one particular bike. Its a Peugeot race bike which is under a ton. Hopefully its still there by the time I go down:

In search of a bike No.1 - My dream bike

Im going to try and purchase a bike so I can cycle to class and then get my films developed in Asda without having to rinse my oyster. I dont know much or anything about bikes, but I have fallen for this one, mainly on asthetics, I imagine it will be nice to cruise around on and the description says it can hall ass if needs be. Im not too sure if I will be able to acquire it, judging by the amount of bids it already has it seems to have quite a fan base.

Return of the panoramic

Last time I completely messed it up because the back fell off. The lovely lady behind who works on Tesco photo desk worked out how to develop these as panoramics. I think these turned out quite well. I dont really take many landscapes, but I really loved the wheel. The next picture is in Hyde park. I was trying to catch this girl roller blading, she managed to pass me six times in the time it took me to get 100 meters. Finnally its a picture my friend examing some speakers from Deptford, nothing speaical. More to come from this camera.

R.I.P Tebo and Roley

I found this photo when cleaning up my room, this is around 10 years old. The photo is of my dog and house rabbit. They were good friends, they enjoyed eating and sleeping. I miss them.

Make-up artist porfolio shoot

This shoot was done quite awhile ago, it was for my friend Lauren's Make-up artist portfolio. The F block girls looking fresh, good work girls.

Trainerspotter summer shoot

I recently did a photo shoot of the Trainerspotter late summer collection. It took place on a bright but cloudy day in Hyde Park. I was lucky enough to the shoot coincided with Kyrezy's and Kadeem's visit to London. They were great to work with, the boys didn't need much direction, they got some serious game faces. I love taking photos of twins (some times triplets), it was an enjoyable day, we went to the Jeff Koon exhibition but they had it on serious lock down, I wanted to get a couple of shots of Kye and Kadeem admiring a couple of pieces with the gnarly paintings as backdrops, but it weren’t to be . Dan of Trainerspotter came down to help conduct the shoot; he took the photo of the shoot in action at the bottom. They are going to be sent off to different magazines, I hope they get published in editorial. The T shirts are not till August but you can pick up a pair of the Chino's are online now www.trainerspotter.com . Here are a couple of my favorite shots:

Coffee and Falafel

When I was in Paris I met up with a Parisian friend I had made living New x. Later her friends (who I had met a couple of times about London) joined us. They showed me round a interesting Gay Jewish area, no its not an area where the Jews are Gay (as I thought), it was where gays and Jews live side by side. I got a taste of French life, they like to sit around drinking coffee during the day, which is quite different from getting messy at the pub during the day. After we finished out coffees we went and had some Falafel, then we did something very English, we went and a couple of cans by the canal. It was very enjoyable day, here are a couple of photos.

Portrait of Guru

I know I said that I was going to do a post every week. But fuck it, I was able to take a portrait of one of my favorite rappers. I was siting with Noah of Flash Fry Records, a couple of guys and Guru in room, so i decided to take the opportunity to ask him if I could take his portrait. At first he thought I wanted to take a photo with him, I explained that I just wanted to take his portrait because thats what I like to do. He smiled and started throwing down signs. Guru is one of the nicest guys I have ever met.

I took another in black and white, I cant wait to develop it.

Bye bye Camera collection

Due to lack of cash, ill be selling most of these off. The majority were bought for a couple of quid from Deptford Market or Stevanage Charity shops, they have served me well and will be missed.
